On Sunday, February 2nd, the Super Bowl took place which got everyone tensed up between the 49ers and the Chiefs as it was a pretty intense game.

What caught people’s attention was the half-time show in which Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and a surprise appearance of Bad Bunny and J Balvin, performed during that time. The artists are all Latinos and their performance was by far one of the best half-time shows.

“The half-time was okay, but my favorite part was when Shakira did that weird thing with her tongue to the camera,” said Jason Lopez (10).

This half-time show really gave a Latino vibe towards the Mexican race; it was talked about by many. Bad Bunny, as well as J Balvin, has been one of today’s many favorite artists to some, so when they came out in the half-time show, it shocked a lot of people.

“I didn’t pay much attention to it but my favorite part was when Jennifer Lopez came out,” said Sofie Laguna (11).

People have said that Shakira and Jennifer Lopez were such a good combination to perform with each other, and with the surprise of Bad Bunny and J Balvin, it made the performance even better.

“The half-time show was honestly super good. I did not expect Bad Bunny or even J Balvin to come out. It was honestly the best halftime so far for me,” said Kiely Velasco (11).

I personally found the performance very amusing. I would say my favorite part of the performance was the fact that Jennifer Lopez reflected her performance to kids in cages which goes back to ICE detains. So that was very generous of her.
