Third Monolith Discovered on Pine Mountain after Similar Structures in Utah and Romania Mysteriously Disappear

A tall, silver, shiny object is something that is not usually found atop a mountain. Only days after the disappearance of the objects found in Utah and Romania, a new monolith has appeared on Pine Mountain and, suspiciously, vanished not one day after the initial discovery.
Just last Wednesday, a helicopter crew of Utah Department of Public Safety’s Aero Bureau officers stumbled across the looming structure when tasked to count bighorn sheep in the area. They immediately landed to examine it, and before long its discovery was covered by multiple news outlets. This quickly prompted numerous theories about “alien placement” because some believed it was a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey, a film about a large black shape that resembled the recent finding.
Authorities purposely kept the location of the object disclosed to avoid curious adventurers from getting lost or needing to be rescued. Many were far too eager and went to look for the pillar themselves anyway; some people have even already found it and have posted its whereabouts on social media. Utah resident David Surber was one of the first to do so and shared a story on Instagram about its attributes and location. He described the object as “stainless steel and aluminum,” “three pieces riveted together,” and containing a number of fingerprints, indicating that the object has already come in contact with other people. Then, just as quickly as it came, the
object mysteriously disappeared less than a day later. “Apparently the monolith is gone,” Surber said. “Nature returned back to her natural state I suppose.”
Similarly, two other monuments of this kind have appeared; the first in Utah, and another in Romania. The one in Utah was removed 10 days after it was found, and the one in Romania strangely disappeared only four days later. We have yet to find a connection to why they keep showing up and disappearing without a trace.
