On February 7th, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the defending SuperBowl champions, The Kansas City Chiefs. Last Sunday, the Buccaneers faced the Green Bay Packers and won to advance to the 2021 SuperBowl. On the same day, the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Buffalo Bills to advance to the 2021 SuperBowl.

This year the Superbowl will be played at Tampa Bay, Florida, and for the first time in 37 years, a team will be playing at their home stadium for the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay was known for not making the playoffs until this year. One of the best quarterbacks of all time, Tom Brady led him and his team to the Super Bowl this year. Since 2003 the Buccaneers have not won a Super Bowl and are looking for their second Super Bowl win.

The away team, the Kansas City Chiefs, will try to defend their super bowl title. The team won last year’s super bowl in a dramatic fashion. Fan-favorite Patrick Mahomes says, “We will stand our ground and play our hearts out even though we are the underdogs.” This is the second time the Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are favored to win, but there are some advantages and disadvantages that could play out. Overall, the Chiefs are mostly full of rather young players, while the Buccaneers are slightly older overall. This Super Bowl matchup will be very interesting to watch because both teams are very talented.

Young Patrick Mahomes will try to lead his team to victory against older Tom Brady. Only the best will come out as the champion.
