Disneyland and California Adventure parks have been closed for over a year now since the pandemic started in 2020. They are planning to reopen on April 30 with limited capacity available and regulations. Disney characters will be social distancing from visitors, and parades as well as other attractions will not be organized until later. Park capacity will be much more limited than it was in previous years. As of now, guests will need to make reservations in advance to be able to enter the parks. On the Disney Parks website, it says, “To enter a park, both a park reservation and a valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for guests ages 3 and up.” Only California residents will be able to visit the parks until further notice in order to comply with state guidelines. Disney’s number one priority is to keep everyone safe while still being able to enjoy their parks.
