Travis Scott’s Concert Accident

On November 5th and 6th, Rapper Travis Scott hosted a music festival called Astroworld in Houston Texas. Different music artists also performed at the music festival, including SZA, Chief Keef, Bad Bunny, Young Thug, Master P, Tame Impala, Earth and Wind and Fire, baby Keem, 21 Savage, Roddy Rich, Chase B, Yves Tumor, Lil Baby.
During the festival, 9 people passed away, including 9-year-old Erza Bount who was the youngest person that died during the festival. The first victim identified was Franco Pantino. He was a senior at the University of Dayton in Ohio. The next victim was John Hilgert, a 14-year-old who loved playing baseball. The third victim was 16-year-old ,Brianna Rodriguzez, a dancer who was part of the band program at her school. The fourth person was 23-year-old Rudy Peña. The fifth person was Danish Baig; his brother described him as a beautiful soul. The sixth person was 20-year-old Jacob E. Jurinek who was known for his “larger than life personality.” The seventh person was Axel Acosta, who attended Western Washington University. The eighth person was 23-year-old Madison Dubiski, a senior from the University of Mississippi. The final person that passed was 22-year-old Bharti Shahani, who was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.
Even though two fans were on the camera man’s stand calling for help because people were dying in the crowd. Travis Scott did not stop the show. This has enraged fans. A couple of days later, Travis Scott released an apology video about what happened during the festival. However, some people aren’t buying it.

I like how well written this story is. So sad for the people that lost their lives at the concert.

This is a great article, overall it’s sad for those people who had lost their lives at the concert and knowing they didn’t make it out alive was very depressing.

That’s horrible for what has happened. I wonder if there are lawsuits against Travis Scott or if people will still be willing to attend his concerts in the future.

Great article! It’s crazy to think that an artist can promote this kind of behavior at their own performances. Many are considered role models as well.
