As Homecoming inches closer, students show their excitement by participating in Spirit Week. From September 12th to September 16th, students can dress according to the daily theme. This Spirit Week gives students a chance to show their school pride and build anticipation for the upcoming Homecoming dance. 

Monday was Mandalay Bay Day during which students and staff donned beach wear. Circus Circus Day was Tuesday’s theme. Students dressed like Adam Sander, wearing basketball shorts and oversized t-shirts. Wednesday is New York, New York themed where students are wearing Y2K-inspired outfits. On Thursday, the theme will be Hard Rock Cafe; students can wear their favorite band or artist shirts. And finally, we are ending the week on Friday with Class Colors. Freshmen wear gold, sophomores wear white, juniors wear black, and seniors sport the color red.

Homecoming is on Saturday, September 17th at Segerstrom High School in the quad, with the theme of Casino Royale. Tickets are available until Wednesday 14th at the ASB window and there will only be a limited amount of tickets sold at the door during Homecoming. Wednesday, September 14th is also the last day to purchase Homecoming asking posters at the ASB window.

To get students excited for Homecoming, there will also be a Homecoming assembly this Friday. Students are to report to their second period and then head to the gym; where they will be met by music and live performances. Lunch will be based on their 3rd period.

There will also be a varsity football game this Friday, September 16, at the Segerstrom field, starting at 7 pm. Segerstrom will be going against Kaiser High School and students are encouraged to show their support by wearing red. All tickets must be bought through the GoFan Ticketing platform.
