Daniel Ramirez is our audio engineer here at Segerstrom News, who has finally come to the final stage of highschool. Behind all of the fun videos you see posted, Daniel always made sure the quality of the audio was perfect for everyone to hear. Thanks to the help he gave, many of the videos produced have amazing sound quality because he is always making sure everything is okay. As a senior in high school, entering the final stages, we’d like to wish him a farewell and thank him for all of the amazing work he has done. As we wish him farewell, we’d like to acknowledge him for the great moments.
1) Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am Daniel Ramirez and a bit about myself is I have 4 dogs, which I like to try and take for walks when I can. I enjoy going out with people and hanging out with others when possible. I like to enjoy video games in my free time as they are fun and entertaining to watch and play. I like to go to new places and explore areas I’ve never been to before, such as other states, as I’ve only been to a few such as Nevada and Arizona but would like to explore more places.
2) What is/are your favorite memory(ies) at Segerstrom High School?
My favorite memories at Segerstrom High School is when I was able to see my friends during lunch and being able to grow alongside others. During junior year, I had some friends who I would always be with at lunch and would always hang out with, but they graduated last year so they weren’t here anymore but I still have some people I can be with. I am also glad to have grown at school alongside fellow senior Ximena Pimentel as we both have had experiences during our school years.
3) How has your high school experience at segerstrom shaped your life?
My highschool experience has shaped my life to try and be more active and talk to more people and make new friends. I enjoy talking to people with similar interests as me and am always glad to try and make new friends. It has helped me to try and become more talkative with others and to have better communication skills.
4) What are your plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation are to go to Cal State Fullerton and get a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and maybe go for a masters. I will try to get a part time or full time job or work in the school to make money.
5) What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming Freshman?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You may think it would be embarrassing, but it isn’t. Asking for help is okay and people are willing to help you if you need it.
