Due to COVID-19, it is difficult for clubs and sports to get together and do certain physical activities that they used to do before the whole pandemic.

Luckily Segerstrom’s Girls League Club will be participating in a toy drive. The toy drive will take place in Laguna Hills at Crossline Church. The toy drive will be held on Saturday, December 5th from 9 am-1 pm.

Girls League will have 3 of their board members physically go to the location and drop off the items. This is super beneficial especially since the holidays are coming up and the kids will be able to enjoy their exciting new toys and not feel left out.

The girls had to think of this idea quickly since they have fewer options to choose from since they now have to practice social distancing. They hope to come up with more bright ideas so that the club can still be able to have some activities going on.

Unfortunately, this year the club believes that this will be the only Christmas community service they will be able to participate in since most community service involves physical contact, leaving them with few options to choose from.

Despite all the hardships that everyone is all going through during this pandemic, the Girls League is always trying their best to keep the club going with different activities, especially with the sisterhood community.
