Throughout her four years at Segerstrom News, Kaylie has contributed in many different ways. To begin, in her first year she briefly wrote a couple of riveting stories. Soon enough, Kaylie switched paths to be a host on Jags Talk, captivating diverse audiences with her entertaining and informative podcasts. Kaylie is the Social Media Manager, helping launch multiple of Segerstrom New’s social media posts, but more than that is a vital member of the team, tough on people but kind, caring, and always keeping up the mood with her humor. She has one younger brother and one older one and has enjoyed watching “Jersey Shore” in her free time.
1) What is/are your favorite memories of Segerstrom?
My favorite memory is having lunch with Brianna and Aniebf every day.
2) How has your high school experience at Segerstrom shaped your life?
My experience here has taught me there is no need to care about what anyone thinks, because it’s my life.
3) What are your plans after high school?
After high school, I plan to attend Orange Coast College and then transfer into a 4 year college to study speech pathology and nursing.
4) What’s one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshmen?
Enjoy the moment and do what you want.
